Sam’s Countertops installers are local, licensed, insured and have undergone a thorough background screening process before replacing your countertop.
We offer a variety of countertop surfaces, including granite, quartz, marble, solid surface, and more.
The biggest difference is that quartz countertops are made from manufactured stone while granite countertops are made from natural stone. Therefore, a granite countertop will have variations in color because no two stones are alike. On the other hand, since quartz countertops are made of ground quartz, resins, and others additives, they have a more consistant color. Another difference is that sealing is highly recommended for granite, but not needed for quartz. Ultimately, both provide lasting value but different looks.
To prolong the beauty and life of your new countertop, we recommend that you use cutting boards and/or trivets to protect the surface from cuts, heat sources, etc.
Our solid surface countertops offer an almost seamless appearance. Seams tend to be more visible in natural stone surfaces and quartz tops.
